Important: this is not legal advice
AuditA11y is an automated testing tool, not a law firm, and nothing here is legal advice. Automated scanning detects only machine-identifiable WCAG 2.1 AA issues — it cannot find every accessibility barrier. A clean or passing scan is NOT a certification of compliance with the ADA, Section 508, WCAG, or any other law, and does NOT guarantee protection from lawsuits, demand letters, or complaints. Full conformance requires manual review by a qualified accessibility specialist, and legal questions require a licensed attorney. You use this tool and act on its results at your own risk.
Acceptable use
Only scan websites you own or have explicit permission to test. Don't use AuditA11y to attack, overload, or probe sites you don't control, and don't use it for anything unlawful.
No warranty
The tool is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will catch every issue on a page. Automated scanning has known limits, and we tell you so throughout the product on purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, AuditA11y is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the tool or your reliance on its results — including, but not limited to, legal claims brought against your website.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

This is a reasonable draft for an MVP, not a lawyer-reviewed document. It will change as the product grows.
